C.A.R. is a transportation program providing daytime rides for individuals to essential appointments or for other nonprofits within the grand valley that have a busing need.  An example of this would be a female who needs a ride to the Marillac Clinic located in Grand Junction for a mental health appointment but doesn’t have transportation or money to get there.  Marillac is a community clinic providing high quality health care to uninsured Mesa County residents with low and moderate incomes. Those wanting to utilize C.A.R. will call in advance to set up the service for their upcoming appointment.
